Dante Berkheimer, owner of Berkheimer Transportation Services

A 34 year veteran of the trucking industry, Dante served as COO and owner of a 110+ power unit  trucking operation for 20 years.  The company had over 150 employees in a seven state area. Maintenance facilities were located in Columbus Ohio., Warrendale Pennsylvania and Cincinnati Ohio.

Prior to buying the business in 2005 he worked in all aspects of the company. Starting out in 1986 as a yard jokey and mobile mechanic. ”Working for a family business means you have to be able to do anything and everything, from delivering the occasional load to changing a tire”. He has truly been involved in all aspects of the operation.

After selling the trucking company in 2019 he started Berkheimer Transportation Solutions to use his team’s expertise in the transportation industry.  One friends statement “ you can’t quit you have diesel fuel in your veins”.

He has served as a board member and Regional Vice President of National Star Route Mail Contractors Association for ten years as well as state level  involvement with the NSRMCA. He is also a member of the Ohio Trucking Association, Truck Load Carriers Association and the TMC.

His expertise is Driver Recruiting, DOT Compliance and Tractor Trailer Maintenance. Dante is now President of Berkheimer Transportation Solutions and a Consultant with Coast to Coast Driver Recruiting.
